FosterDoc Adoption Support & Trasport (F.A.S.T)
In partnership with Fort Bend County Animal Shelter
The Vision
The F.A.S.T. Program is FosterDoc Houston’s streamlined partnership with county shelters designed to move at-risk dogs into safe, successful placements quickly and responsibly.
Through early national exposure, county dogs gain visibility with approved adopters and rescue partners across the country. As soon as a placement lead appears, FosterDoc can pull dogs immediately into our 35–40-dog facility, where they receive careful evaluation, medical support, and daily socialization to prepare them for adoption.
Once the right match is confirmed, the F.A.S.T. team coordinates all transport logistics, health certificates, communication, and travel arrangements, ensuring a smooth transition to adopters or partner rescues—locally or nationwide.
F.A.S.T. provides a full-service pathway for county dogs: rapid intake, responsible placement, and safe transport from shelter to forever home.
